Hydrangea Wedding!

I had the pleasure last week of doing the wedding flowers for a good friend of mine. She wanted a vintage feel but we still wanted to keep it romantic and elegant looking. I was so pleased she wanted hydrangeas as they are so beautiful and come in all sorts of wonderful colours this time of year in NZ. She looked absolutely stunning in her frock with the flowers and everyone had such a lovely day.

Buttonholes - lisianthus, hydrangea, lambsear foliage and silver grass with pseudopanax berries

The venue looked stunning once the fairy lights were on and lighting dimmed, candles lit.

I used to be a florist about 8 years ago so was a bit out of practice! It all took me longer than expected but thankfully the result was good. Congratulations and best wishes for the future to our lovely friends.
